This blog has been inspired by a book, The Magdalen Manuscript. A Sister from England recommended it to me and it sparked my interest. I posted a message on Facebook asking if anyone had a copy I could borrow, and surely enough a Sister living in a town close by did. She had just picked it up the day before, thinking that she would like to lend it out to someone. I went to pick it up right away and started reading on my way back. Just the introduction resonated so much with me, that I was laughing and crying in the busy train. That was already quite an experience. The rest of the day was spent finishing the Manuscript.
The Manuscript is best introduced by its back cover.
[The Magdalen Manuscript is] Mary Magdalen’s personal story of her tantric relationship with Yeshua ben Joseph, known today as Jesus Christ. A love so deep it has survived over 2000 years of lies, to be finally told now, in this, “the beginning of the ending of time.” A High Initiate of the Temple of Isis, Mary Magdalen was the Holy Grail, the cup that carried the blood of Christ. And the long-prophesied “sun” that was born to her was a girl named Sar’h.
This book is about restoring Mary Magdelan in her rightful role as Jesus’ companion, the mother of their bloodline and the woman who was to carry on the church of Jesus Christ. The teachings of Jesus were distorted to serve the patriarchal system of the church as we know it today.
From Mary Magdalen’s story, the Bible, and my own perspective I understand that when Jesus was speaking of his Father, he was not speaking of a “Lord” in the heavens above, but about his greater higher self of which he was the human manifestation. Each individual Self is again connected to the collective of existence on this Planet. We can call that God, or even the greater whole of the Universe that it is part of. We are all seeing different dimensions of the same Being.
Heaven is now, if you believe, is what Jesus said. You are in the Kingdom of God. We have come to understand Heaven as something that comes after death, as a reward for having spent a life following the rules, being “good.” Yet when we realise that you can create anything you wish, as Jesus did with water and wine for example, we realise that we can create our own Heaven, right now.
Matthew 22:36-40
36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Holy Bible, New International Version (NIV))
Traditionally we have interpreted this as love some “One” outside yourself. But if we are all parts of the same One, then we are all one. As we are all aspects of God, we are all God. So loving God means loving yourself. “With all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” Love everything about yourself and you will know God.
Then, second, “love your neighbor”; love the other. Love them as wholly as you love yourself.
That is the most important essence of what Jesus taught.
He didn’t teach love of a distant, unknowable, all-powerful, all-knowing entity. He taught love of Self. I am the unknowable, all-powerful, all-knowing entity. We are God.
So worship yourself, believe in yourself. Treat yourself as the God you are. You deserve everything, as you are everything. Fill yourself with so much love that you overflow and love your neighbors with the same devotion.
