What we are here for

We didn’t come here to be perfect. If we wanted a comfortable life, living in harmony with nature, doing everything right, we could have incarnated at any other time and any other place. The universe is full of ways to live the sweet life.

But we came here, in this time. Not just to heal Earth and support humanity in its transformation, but also to experience this insanity for ourselves.

Because let’s be honest, it is just ridiculous what is going on here. It is beyond anything that makes sense, especially when you feel the nature of Love and Life within.

Trying to harmonize this world is like trying to turn the oceans sweet – it theoretically can be done, but it sure will take a while.

Expectations of perfection have no place here. We can imagine what we wish the world and our life would be like all we want – and we should because every drop in the ocean matters – but it will not come to fruition in our lifetime.

So let’s not scrutinize our every action. Let’s not hold ourselves to impossible standards. Let’s not believe we need to be more than what we are.

It helps me to keep in mind that the number 1 thing I am here for is experience. Any purpose I have, any goal I can accomplish, any challenge I face, it is all part of the experience and therefore good exactly as is.

The experience is a human one. To have a light side and a shadow side. To forget who we are, where we came from and why we are here. To not know what is going on most of the time. To feel afraid and to feel ashamed. To have plans and see them all fall apart. To be surprised by delights we could never have imagined.

To be addicted to candy, screens and unhealthy relationships. To write someone off based on a snap judgement. To find out we were not just wrong but completely delusional. To make exactly the mistake we saw coming and not know how to deal with it.

Being human comes with so many dumb things. And it is a privilege to experience all of them. This ridiculous way of life can not be found anywhere in the universe. Each of us stood in the front of a very long line of souls who wish to experience the exact dumbassery that we are exasperated about every day. We are the lucky ones.

Unsolicited advice is usually bad advice

"Unsollicited advice is usually bad advice” Often people ask me about helping people. Because they not just want to, need to, but feel like they have to at times. When people tell them about things, the advice just starts to bubble to the surface. It is very hard to...

Ariane – Human Design analist & coach
